Creation of Israel

Zionism is the national movement for the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the resumption of Jewish authority in the Land of Israel, from its inception, tangible as well as spiritual aims. Jews of all persuasions, left and right, religious and secular, joined to form the Zionist movement and worked together toward these goals. Disagreements led to rifts, but the common goal of a Jewish state in its ancient homeland was attained. The term "Zionism" was coined in 1890 by Nathan Birnbaum. The conflics that this new country was that it was attacked by the combined forces of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Egypt, just a day after it declared independence, is an important part of the Israeli consciousness. After the war the Palestine people did not like the holy land so, after the 1948 war, Israel possessed approximately 8,000 square miles of Palestine, reducing the Arab lands partition by some 50 percent. Jerusalem was divided, with Arabs on the east side of the armistice line the Green Line and the Jews on the west.

Nelson Mandela and Apartheid

Apartheid is a policy or system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race. Also there was an organization of Afrikaner National Party in the 1948 election. Nelson Mandela was born in South Africa under the Apartheid system of government meant bad things for growing up in South Africa, but Nelson Mandela was a fighter. Instead of bowing down to this unjust system of government, he became a lifelong warrior in the battle to free South Africa. When he was a leader his underground political movement called the African National Congress (ANC). His career was very short and what to prison, but he never gave up so that why he was a good leader.

African Independence

What i think this of the map means that African people, after that had there independence they did a big change and so little time, what i think is that when one of the country got there independence the other help the other and soon they all had there independence. One of the leader of their largely nonviolent protests was Kwame Nkrumah which lead to the independence of Ghana. Also Ahmed Ben Bella, a leader of the FLN who had been imprisoned by the French, was named the first prime minister and president. Ben Bella reestablished national order, began land reforms, and developed new plans for education. Also there was an organisation of called the Algerian National Liberation Front, or FLN.

"Night and Fog"

At the end of the movie there where some powerful images like when some of the Germany's where getting kill and burn and most of the dead body's where very skinny and you can gust see the bones of the Jews. What i thing of the scenes of the "Night and Fog" and "Schindler's List" is that night and fog was more better in scenes and image and it show how it was really made and how people cred and suffered in that movie while in the movie Schindler's list there is to much of acting and most of the part where or never existed in the really thing and that the movie can never camper to the really thing. Mostly the documentary because in it the people who made it probably did not lie while in the movie they put additional parts that never was there so it can be more better.

"Schindler's List"

What i thing that the film illustrate about the Holocaust was that most of the Jews dead in this period of time and no man or woman could safe them from there own death. The most powerful scenes for me was when most of the Jews where put in some cages and the Germany's trow some poison gas that kill more then 6,000 people in a instance and after that that toke them to a other part and there where some people burning the dead body's of the Jews. The image that will stay with me is when there was a girl with a red coat in point she was walking throw some Germany's and goes up to a house and hides under the bed then after that all most in the end of the film the girl appears again but this time she is dead and she was going to get burred form some other people.

US Atomic Bombing of Japan in 1945

What i thing of the use of nuclear weapons is not o.k, but it cause a lot of commotion after the nuclear attack that why for the last 100 century's it must of bean the best news ever in the newspaper, but the way they say it is not O.K because so many Japanese dead of so much radiation and not many people servery from the blast, so the people that made the newspaper did not seemed to have no feelings. The biggest story i have heard was about when South America was taring to untie all the Latin and call them "La Gran Colombia" it was a guy called Simon Bolivar who free all of the Latins from the Spanish army he was born in Venezuela and then he got his independents from try Spanish and then try to help the rest of the counters. But what i want is to add to this list the biggest news ever is when the "Twin Towers" fell and kill to 3,000 people in a minute or so, and because now in this time people all around the world know what is happening and what they can do about it so that my biggest news ever.

Germany at War-WW ll

This propaganda is saying that Germany has destroyed Great Britain and shows that the fist of of Germany is turning its attention to the east threatening a knock-out blow for Stalin and the Soviet Union. What i thing this propaganda is saying is that Germany will get the hole Soviet Union and that it will get there property and have it for there own and keep rebuilding there army so they can control all of the east side. What in this picture is going on is that Germany is not scared for a fight and that they will not loose against anybody. What this propaganda is symbolising that Germany is determine to loose everything to win this war and that they are not afraid to destroy bigger contents and Germany as a little country they are going to prove that they should under estimate never by there appearance.
